District Profile
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 62 (the “District”) was created by order of the Texas Water Commission, now known as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (the “Commission” or “TCEQ”), dated January 4, 1978. The District presently contains approximately 449 acres of land located in the western portion of Harris County approximately 26 miles from downtown Houston, Texas. Access to the District from the City of Houston is provided by Interstate Highway 10 and Grand Parkway. The District lies entirely within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Houston and within the Katy Independent School District.

Board Members
The District is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of five (5) Board members elected by the registered voters of the District, who manage and supervise all affairs of the District. Board members must either own property within the District or be a registered voter within the District. Each Board member is elected to serve a staggered four (4) year term. The District’s current Board members are as follows:

- Lonnie Falk, Secretary, Term Expires: May 2028
- Marla Doehring, Asst. Secretary, Term Expires: May 2026
